Business and Social Welfare Students making a difference in Jamaica

Three faculty members and 15 students will be heading to Jamaica in less than ten days on the iLEAD Jamaica Expedition. The students will be working with the Great Huts Resort and the Portland Rehabilitation Management Centre in the parish of Portland on various projects. We depart February 14th and return on February 24th.

About The Trip

Nipissing University's iLEAD program is proud to have the opportunity to send a team of advanced students and faculty members on a special international project to Jamaica during February 14th-24th, 2014.The project this year involves offering free consulting services to an organization called Great Huts, which operates a resort, a rehab centre, and a night shelter for the homeless, the elderly, and for people with special needs.
