Fundraising Efforts

Over the past few months we have been fundraising to help reduce the costs of the trip to the students. Our latest fundraiser is a pub night at Raven and Republic this Thursday, February 6th at 8:30pm. The cover is $5. Live music will be provided by local musician Eric Treleaven. The Raven is offering a special promotion of $5 for Lake of Bay tall boys. There will also be door prizes!

Update: This fundraiser ended up bringing in $641. Good job and congrats to the 2014 ILEAD Jamaica team for all their hard work!

About The Trip

Nipissing University's iLEAD program is proud to have the opportunity to send a team of advanced students and faculty members on a special international project to Jamaica during February 14th-24th, 2014.The project this year involves offering free consulting services to an organization called Great Huts, which operates a resort, a rehab centre, and a night shelter for the homeless, the elderly, and for people with special needs.
